One Smoothie for Breakfast

Now it’s summer and hot and it’s better to have breakfast with something fresh, moreover fruits are delicious in this period! This week I have replaced my morning porridge (yes, I eat and love it) with a smoothie. If you don’t know, Smoothie il like a milkshake with fruits and/or vegetables, in which you add other ingredients: chia or flax seeds, almond or peanut butter, milk or soy/almond/rice milk, honey, maple syrup… there’s no limit with fantasy… Natural supplements are often included, for example baobab powder, spirulina algae powder or maca…everyone has a different feature, but all of them help organism to rest in health and give energy to the body. Smoothie is fluffy and creamy, it’s very nutritious, a complete breakfast!

Serves 2:

1 banana

2 peaches

2 tablespoons almond butter

2 tablespoons oat

1 glass soy milk

2 teaspoons baobab powder (optional)

2-3 ice cubes

 

Put all the ingredients in the power blender (I used my Vitamix) first liquids then solids, and blend for 60 seconds, smoothie is now ready! Fluffy like a cloud and creamy like silk!!
